State Bank of India, the multinational Indian bank has released the notification for SBI recruitment 2018 Junior Associate for its customer support and sales division post from January 20, 2018. The applications are available on the official online portal of SBI. As per SBI, the application for only junior associates are being invited and the interested can apply for vacancies only in any one state.
The Bank has released the application for the post of Junior Associate (sales & support customer) in the clerical department and quite a large number of vacancies available, 9633 precisely. All eligible candidates can apply for the post on or before February 10, 2018.
The relevant job seekers can avail this great opportunity and apply to fit in the post. And, this must be done as soon as possible since just registration closure is only 3 days away. Else, you may have to wait for another year.
The Prelims exam is expected to be conducted in March or April 2018 while the Mains examination will tentatively be conducted on May 12, 2018. Only those who qualify the Prelims exam will be able to appear for the Mains.
As per the SBI notification, ‘Applications are invited from Indian Citizens only for the Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) in clerical cadre in State Bank of India.
Candidates can apply for vacancies in one State only’.
It is also being said that the test of familiarity and knowledge of the opted local language by the candidates can be conducted.
This candidate who will successfully accomplish the main exam will be eligible to appear in this test before joining the bank. In fact, it is mandatory for every candidate to pass this test. Otherwise, the appointment letter will not be given to the candidate.
Only a single chance will be given to the candidates to appear for this test. The candidates applying for vacancies of a particular State should be proficient at reading, writing, speaking, and understanding in the specified opted local language of that State. The age of the candidates appearing in the exam must not be below 20 years and not above 28 years. They must be graduates in any discipline from a recognized university or should possess any degree equivalent to qualification approved by the central government.
The Preliminary exam will be conducted in March or April 2018 in online mode and shall comprise objective questions for 100 marks. There are 3 sections in the exam, namely English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability. The duration of the examination will be 1 hour.
On the other hand, Mains exam will take place on May 12, 2018 via online mode. It will consist of both objective and subjective questions.
There are 4 sections in this exam, namely: General English, General/Financial Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning ability, and Computer Aptitude. The duration of the exam will be 3 Hour and 30 Minutes.
You may note that the questions in the exam will be bilingual and there will be negative marking for every wrong answer. You will have to suffer a loss of 1/4th of the marks assigned to the respective question for every wrong answer.
Application fee of INR 600 has to be paid by General and OBC candidates while XS/PWD/ST/SC candidates have to pay INR 100.
After successfully filling the applications for the post of Junior Associate, applicants will be able to download their admit card/call letter for Preliminary Examination from March 01, 2018.
The admit card/call letter for the Mains examination can be downloaded from April 26, 2018 onwards. The admit card will be available only on the official site of SBI.
