The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has been advertised IBPS RRB CWE VI notification for 14192 Posts to recruit Group ‘A’ Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Group ‘B’ Office Assistants (Multipurpose). The pre-examination (online) will be held on 09.09.2017, 10.09.2017, 16.09.2017 for Officer Scale-I and 17.09.2017, 23.09.2017 & 24.09.2017 for Office Assistant Posts. Those aspirants who were waiting for this examination can fill online IBPS RRB application form from 12th July to 01st August 2017. The RRB Main Exam(Online Mode) 2017 will be held on 05th November 2017 for Officer & on 12th November 2017 for Office Assistant Posts. IBPS RRB 2017 Exam Pattern

The examination pattern for the selection to the post of Officer Grade is quite different to that of exam pattern for the selection to the post of Office Assistant. For IBPS RRB Assistant 2017, Exam will be conducted in two phases:

  • Preliminary Exam
  • Mains Exam

There is No interview process will be conducted for selecting candidates to the post of Office Assistant. Selection will be made on the marks obtained by the candidate in his/her Mains Examination.

IBPS RRB Officer 2017 Exam Pattern

For IBPS RRB Officer 2017, the exam will be conducted in three phases:

  • Preliminary Exam
  • Mains Exam
  • Interview Process

The Preliminary Exam is Only Qualifying nature. The final selection will be made on the cumulative score obtained by the candidate in both Mains Exam and Interview Exam.

IBPS RRB 2017 Eligibility Criteria

For IBPS RRB 2017 Exam, a candidate is required to fulfil the given eligibility criteria:

Nationality
  • a Citizen of India or a subject of Bhutan or
  • a subject of  Nepal or
  • a Tibetan Refugee
  • a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Sri Lanka,Pakistan, Burma, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Zaire,Malawi, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently living in India, given a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the GOI.
Age Limit
  • Candidates are required to be between 18 years and 28 years
  • Candidates should have not been born earlier than 02-09-1989 and later than 01-09-1999 (both dates inclusive) as on 01-09-2017.
Eligibility Criteria
  • Candidates must have completed Graduation Degree in any discipline from a recognised University or its equivalent.
Language Proficiency
  • Candidates who are applying for the posts of Office Assistant in any particular RRB Area are must possess proficiency in the local language of the State/ UT in which the RRB is situated.

IBPS RRB 2017 Application Fee

A total of Rs. 600/- is to be paid by candidates belonging to General Category/OBC as the application fee (Only Online Mode)for both IBPS RRB Assistant 2017 and IBPS RRB Officer 2017. The same amount is narrowed down to Rs. 100/- for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category.

IBPS RRB 2017 Admit Card

IBPS will release the admit card on their official website before 15 days of Examination. Different Admit Cards will be issued for both Preliminary and Mains Examination for both posts(Assistant and Office Assistant). The link to the same will be provided on this page. Hence, candidates are required to visit this site regularly to remain updated.

IBPS RRB 2017 Result

IBPS will declare the results after conducting exams for each stage for both Assistant and Officer Grade. Candidates are required to clear the preliminary round in order to give their Mains Exam. Candidates who make it to the final merit list will be offered the call letter to join the organization.

IBPS RRB Cut-Off 2017

The cut-off for Preliminary Exams and Mains Exam will be different. The cut-off marks will be generated both state wise as well as category wise.
