What is Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET):

The Board of School Education, Haryana (BSEH) is a Governmental Institute of School Education.

The Office of the board is located in Bhiwani Distt. of Haryana, India.

It is responsible for development and promotion of secondary education in the state.

Teacher Eligibility Test known as TET is an Indian entrance exam for teachers.

This test is compulsory for getting teaching jobs in government schools from Class 1 to Class 12th.

It is accompanied by both Central and state government in India. Maximum states conduct their own TET exam.

HTET New Syllabus 2017 for PRT, TGT, and PGT

HTET New syllabus for Level-I (For Primary Teacher):

• मनोविज्ञान 6-11 आयु ग्रुप से सम्बंधित होगा और केवल शिक्षा से सम्बंधित आयेगा

HTET New syllabus for Level-II (For TGT / Master):

• मनोविज्ञान 11-16 आयु ग्रुप से सम्बंधित होगा और केवल शिक्षा से सम्बंधित आयेगा |

HTET New syllabus for Level-III (For PGT):

• मनोविज्ञान 14-17 आयु ग्रुप से सम्बंधित होगा और केवल शिक्षा से सम्बंधित आयेगा |

HTET 3 level of exam:

• Primary Teacher (Level-1 or PRT Exam) This exam is managed for those who want teacher job in Haryana government school from class I to V.
• Trained Graduate Teacher (Level-2 or TGT Exam): This exam is managed for the teacher jobs from class VI to VII in Haryana Government schools.
• Post Graduate Teacher: (PGT or Level 3)This is the level-3 exam and is managed by the applicants who are looking for the lecturer (PGT) posts in Haryana state government.

Examination Pattern for TET Exam:

The written exam consists of Multiple choice questions. The duration of the exam is Two and half hour with 150 questions.

Level-1: Child Development and Pedagogy- 30 Marks Language I ( Hindi) – 15 Marks, Language II (English) – 15 Marks, Aptitude and Logical reasoning and GK of Haryana – 30 Marks, Mathematics – 30 Marks Environmental Studies – 30 Marks.

For the Level- 2: Child Development and Pedagogy- 30 Marks Language I ( English) – 15 Marks Language II ( Hindi/ Punjabi/ Urdu/ Sanskrit – Choose any one) – 15 Marks, Aptitude and Logical reasoning and GK of Haryana – 30 Marks Mathematics and Science : 60 Marks ( For Mathematics and Science Teacher), Home Science/ Physical Education Teacher – 60 Marks, Social Studies : 60 Marks ( For Social Teacher).

For Level- 3: Child Development and Pedagogy- 30 Marks Language I ( Hindi) – 15 Marks Language II (English) – 15, Aptitude and Logical reasoning and GK of Haryana – 30 Marks, Marks Specific Subject – 60 Marks.
